Unfortunately, Overnight heavy rains triggered severe flooding in large swathes of the Indonesian capital Jakarta on Thursday (January 17) paralysing traffic and forcing many government offices and businesses to close because staff could not get to work. :((
The flood also hits main streets and downtown Jakarta, including Jalan Thamrin and Jalan Sudirman.
And even...to The Palace. President SBY postponed his meeting with Argentine's president for few hours due to the flood.
